MIE Undergraduate Study Room (SEL 3287)

Looking for a Great Place to Study?

Try the MIE Undergraduate Study Room (SEL 3287).  From the ERF East Atrium, go up the stairs to the 3rd floor, exit towards elevators, turn left toward the doors to enter SEL.  Turn right at the first hallway and it is halfway down the hall on your left.

Room has: I.D. access (24/7) for MIE UG students only, 5 tables, 22 chairs, internet access, blackboard, a couch, a campus phone (312)355-5538, lockers for Senior Design Students.  Funding for this room was generously provided by Professor Faydor Litvin.  THANKS PROF. LITVIN!!  The UGAB, Jerry Busiel, and Alan Wilmington also played an important role in the design of this room so that it will be helpful to the MIE UG students.  The Department thanks them for their efforts.

Three computers with 21" monitor will be added soon THANKS  to CATERPILLAR.  Many thanks to Samantha Steinberg for asking Caterpillar to donate these and for transporting them to the school.

This room is also used at the meeting place for students and the T.A.s for MIE classes.

IMPORTANT: You must register your I.D. with the MIE Main Office (ERF 2039) to have access to this room!  If you don't have I.D. access to this room please tell Veronica Rodriguez (ERF 2039) about the problem and give her your 16 digit ID number so it can be programmed into the lock.  Note, we only reprogram the lock once per semester in the fourth week.  If you don't have I.D. access you can knock on the door to see if someone if there or call as there is a phone in the room.

Please tell us what we can do to improve this room.
