MIE Game Day
What is it? In the interest of fun, we have an afternoon of games one time per year early in the Spring semester. We have several chess tables and two ping pong tables set up for the faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students to enjoy some games in the East ERF atrium.
Last years 2003 winners of the Ping Pong Tournament were:
Singles:
1st Place--- Harish Kanchi (ME Graduate Student)
2nd Place--- Mohammad Ghaffarpour (Faculty)
Doubles:
1st Place--- Mohammad Ghaffarpour (Faculty) and ??
2nd Place---Sabri Centinkunt (Professor) and ??
Many thanks to Fady Gaied who basically ran the tournament from start to finish and many other students that helped sep up the tables. Play began at 1pm and did not stop until 8 pm in the evening...
